BAKING

Owen began baking from a young age, learning most of what he knows from his mother. Owen has done some work as a commissioned baker, as well as baking professionally for Zou Zou's Cafe in Chelsea, Michigan for a short period. Owen loves to bake cookies, cakes and brownies for friends and colleagues. But by far Owen's favorite treat to bake is cupcakes. Owen even started a personal tradition for every show he works on called Closing Cupcakes. While working for Finger Lakes MTF in the summer 0f 2013, Owen forgot to pick up some actors for an evening performance, as an apology he brought cupcakes in for the closing performance. The cupcakes were such a big hit that he began making them for every show that summer. Now, whenever Owen is working on a show he brings in homemade, show themed cupcakes on the closing performance. It's his way of sending everyone out on a sweet note. You can see many examples of Owen's baked goods on his instagram
