Arts Administration Experience

Norwegian Cruise Lines, Dec. 2022-Present

Theatrical Operations Manager - Manages the theatrical aspects of onboard presentations particularly the production shows. Maintains the artistic standards and intentions of the Producer, Director, and Technical Designer. Works directly with the cruise director to create the production schedule for all cruises. Serves as the company manager for all cast members handling housing, medical and administrative needs. In charge of all guest entertainers, seeing to their scheduling and reimbursements while on board. Report to shore side corporate offices regarding any injuries, cancellations or other incidents involving entertainers.

Work Light Productions, Feb. 2019-June 2020 -

General Management Assistant - Directly assisted the President, Vice President and General Managers with hiring, contracting, and company finance. Served as assistant general manager for multiple touring productions. Handled confidential and non-routine information with discretion. Organized and prioritized large volumes of information, including contact lists, calendars and the filing of contracts, and other vital documents. Compiled and created expense reports including coding of credit card bills and receipt management. Scheduled and organized complex activities such as meetings, travel, and company events. Answered office phone calls. Took messages or fielded/answered all routine and non-routine questions.

Capital Repertory Theatre, April 2017-Aug. 2018 –

Assistant Company Manager/Assistant Stage Manager - Working alongside the Company Manager, drafted contracts and riders for actors, directors, designers and other artists. Helped to arrange travel and housing for out of town guests. Was responsible for company housing and vehicles which includes scheduling regular cleaning and maintenance. Assisted in the planning and execution of company events. As an assistant stage manager, helped coordinate rehearsals, coordinated travel to press events and assisted backstage when necessary for performances. Serves as the the main contact for any artist in residence in the event of an emergency.

Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival, June 2016-July 2016 –

Company/Production Management Assistant - Reported directly to the Company Manager (CM) and Assistant Production Manager (APM). Assisted CM in all aspects of company management for employees of the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival/Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. Tasks included management of all company housing, arranging/supplying transportation, providing medical assistance, and extending general support and hospitality to the FLMTF/MGR Playhouse employees. Assisted APM in all aspects related to production management. Tasks included budget/financial tracking/assisting in maintenance of production calendars and assisting in usage of and access to the facility.

McCarter Theatre Center, Aug. 2015-June 2016 –

Company Management Assistant - Worked directly with McCarter’s Company Manager to provide the highest level of hospitality to artists, collaborators, and staff. Specific responsibilities included coordination of travel for artists; maintenance of 9 actor apartments; assist with artist ticketing; maintaining volunteer database; gathering information on local resources to provide to artists and staff; maintaining vendor relationships; coordination of staff parties and events; assisting with artist contracts; and intimate participation in the theater series rehearsal process. Also provided artist support for touring productions such as concerts, comedians and guest speakers. This involved assisting with hospitality, transportation, backstage management and being a point of reference when necessary.

Purple Rose Theatre Company, Dec. 2013-Dec. 2014 –

Apprentice - Apprentices served as the front line of customer service to theatre patrons. Duties included taking ticket reservations, putting up posters and leading tours for school and senior groups. Day-to-day operating duties were shared among the apprentices throughout the year. Apprentices helped to strike and load in scenery, hang lights and maintain the facility.  Other duties included answering phones, assembling mailings, maintaining the patron database and assisting the development staff with special events.
